SCORE Austin wants you to succeed. In addition to free one-on-one counseling, take advantage of these low-cost workshops and seminars.

SCORE offers low-cost business training workshops and seminars for both start-up and in-business entrepreneurs. Training topics range from: writing a business plan to e-commerce marketing depending on the current needs of our business community. Workshops also offer an opportunity to interact with other local small business owners.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds unless SCORE Austin cancels a workshop. If you give notice 24 hours or more prior to the event that you cannot attend, you will have one year to register for a similar workshop at the same price.

This workshop is for people considering social media as part of their marketing strategy. it covers the basics of utilizing social media tools for business

Agenda:

This workshop is a general overview of Social Media Marketing. It discusses the latest trends, how Twitter, Facebook groups, blogs, and Linked-In have grown and how it can benefit your business. You’ll learn all aspects associated with SMM, what they are best used for and steps you need to take to develop your own strategy. Customized Workshops

Demands on small business owners' time and the need for specialized knowledge can be daunting. Missed profit opportunities, lingering unsolved problems, and lack of critical information can seriously hinder the ability of a business to prosper or even survive. Now SCORE Austin offers a special program of "Advanced Workshops" specifically designed for businesses that have been established for 3 or more years, that typically have revenue of >$500,000 and 3 or more employees yet need to refocus their business goals and strategies.

SCORE's experienced executives will:

  • provide an objective and confidential analysis of an enterprise, identifying business needs
  • collaborate with management to create a unique program to meet those needs
  • prepare and present unique workshops, seminars and counseling to management and staff that are tailored to meet the identified needs
