This interactive and hands-on workshop is for both business owners who have experience using Social Media for their business as well as beginners who need to understand how Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter can help them get started by working in breakout groups in afternoon sessions

Agenda:

Social Media is not Marketing but Marketing does use social media. The first hour will be for beginners to social media. A 2 hour overview will follow,showing how using social media not only attracts customers but also how your business is “liked” “shared” and “Tweeted” to their friends. This will be followed by 4 breakout sessions, of which you choose three: 1. Facebook; 2. Linkedin; 3. Twitter and 4. Smart Phone Applications.

Demands on small business owners' time and the need for specialized knowledge can be daunting. Missed profit opportunities, lingering unsolved problems, and lack of critical information can seriously hinder the ability of a business to prosper or even survive. Now SCORE Austin offers a special program of "Advanced Workshops" specifically designed for businesses that have been established for 3 or more years, that typically have revenue of >$500,000 and 3 or more employees yet need to refocus their business goals and strategies.

SCORE's experienced executives will:

• provide an objective and confidential analysis of an enterprise, identifying business needs
• collaborate with management to create a unique program to meet those needs
• prepare and present unique workshops, seminars and counseling to management and staff that are tailored to meet the identified needs
